Mountain Treats in Hill City

Not a huge sweets or ice cream person, but I am a coffee fiend, & stop by here every morning for my latte breve w/ extra foam. They get it perfect, every time! My sanity thanks you!

Free wifi and good coffee. It's where I go get some work done whenever I vacation in the Black Hills.

Great place for Sweet Treats, we stop every time we are out and are always happy when we leave.

The sweets were overall good, but the woman who Im guessing was the manager was extremely rude to her employees-some blonde woman. It was very distracting and I wasnt the only customer who noticed. Very bad management.

Great coffee, great ice cream, great candies. The staff was super friendly.

I may be able to post a picture. But we come here often because the ice cream is delicious and a good value. Our recent visit, my “two scoops” were not a very good portion compared to past times. My husband got an overflowing sundae and I got a cup half full. Just wasn’t consistent in portion to past times and a little sad to the $12.96 we paid.

Delicious ice cream. The chocolate one in the photo is the "2 scoop" in a dish. They also have a wall full of wine and lots of other goodies.

Good variety of salt water taffy and chocolates. Didn't have the ice cream but everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Rude and inconsiderate girl working behind counter. Caught her making fun of customers behind back. Would not recommend this place.

Great ice cream. A little overpriced.

I have been to Black Hills Imaging for procedures recently and received candies from Turtle Town........I was very disappointed with candies. They were not fresh.......looked like older candy......tasted awful.Next time I will tell nurse......no thank and why I do not want any candy from this place......especially as we have 3 very, very good candy stores in Rapid City.

Overhyped, overpriced, underweight fudge - a half pound turned out to be 6.7 ounces. It was just okay. There were a couple of interesting ice cream flavors. I wish I had seen Cream, the little shop just down Main Street a half a block, before Turtle Town.

Great coffee, great chocolates, and great atmosphere!

Excellent ice cream. Make a special 24 mile trip to get it. The 2 scoops are huge. I don't mean big or decent size or even good size. I mean HUGE! For what you get it's a tremendous value. Well worth the trip.

You want great homemade goodies - Turtle town is the place to go!

Staff was patient with our children, even when it took forever for them to make up their minds. Everything was a little pricey, but not out of this world or anything. Everything we got was delicious.

Sugar overload, and just smelling the inside of this shop will probably add 5 pounds. I ended up with a dark chocolate peanut butter cup that was just right (not too sweet). You must stop here.

Great place to cool off with some ice cream. Get some great dark chocolate or even a coffee. Truffles every time!

Adorable sweet and coffee shop with homemade fudge, taffy, chocolates and other treats. They have an espresso machine and make amazing drinks, and I noticed they also offered gingerbread house-making classes. (They bake the house for you and then you can come decorate it with candy from the shop.) very cute idea. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

I had a 'caramel au sel de mer' home made and a coconut Milk latte ! Sooooooo goooood !

Great treats and friendly staff!

It is above a basic candy/dessert/café. They also taught me that stressed spelt backwards is desserts. They have good pricing on all of there items. Really great employee sprit. But they do run low on items easy and have low parking for how good they are. But not a lot stood out.

Ice cream was great, candy looked good

I came in as the season was starting, there strawberry cheesecake taste nasty as if it is never covered once they closed. If you look at their ice cream section everything has huge pieces of ice in the containers. They forgot to start there ice cream machine so we had to wait for our soft serve. Meanwhile, I had to ask for my Chia Tea twice. The chia is plan, I have had better. Overall the ice cream is okay, the service is good employees are friendly. As for their cleaniness it could be way better considering nobody is really in town and it's the beginning of the season. The first spoon I picked up was dirty and when I looked back the employees look at me and look back at each other.

Wow! Hands-down the best salt water taffy and divinity I’ve had in my 50 yrs on this planet. The chocolate truffles were good too but I’m a divinity and taffy gal so I’ve eaten a lot of it and this place knows how to make candy. I understand all their goodies are made a few miles win Keystone, SD. I’m hoping they deliver for Christmas.

stopped in today they had six kids working there. Two customers and do you think I could get waited on? Heck no! I finally said something to one of them who was chatting and laughing with the others and got waited on with an attitude. The candy wasn't that good and the coffee was weak.

Nice little spot for ice cream and chocolates. Plus coffee for the adults. One of the few places open this time of year. Recommended stop.

The website said they are open until 9pm. We got there at 5:20 and they are closed. If your going to close early, post it.😡.

Went in looking for a non-dairy desert for my son who has a severe milk allergy. They assured me their sorbet was safe. After only one bite, my son had a severe allergic reaction. Obviously they didn't really check the ingredients! Completely unsafe place for people with food allergies!

Terrible service. Ice cream was overpriced and the service lady rudely told us we were being too loud. I don’t think laughing should be a problem but I guess it is.

Great ice cream...they give you a lot so be prepared to walk it off.
